Break out that sewing machine you keep hidden in your closet. This 6-session class, taught by a second generation master seamstress, will have you bonding with your sewing machine in super practical ways. Learn the very basics: threading it, winding and threading a bobbin and keeping basic care of parts. More importantly, it will get your over the hump of basic construction skills and pattern management. At the end of the class each student will have completed a project and if there is anytime left we will cover the students’ choice.
Students will need to bring their own sewing machine, which can be stored at the school space or taken home after each class. Students will also be responsible for their project supplies, an estimated $40 for everything (including scissors and pins, so if you have those bring them, too).
