Seasonal Cooking
Why should we cook with the seasons? Can it be done in New Mexico? Long-time organic gardener and food blogger Jill van Nortwick* will lead this hands-on cooking class exploring seasonal cooking. Together we’ll look at self-sufficiency in preparing healthy, economical meals that consist of fresh produce. This class is sure to affect positive changes in your shopping, cooking, eating habits, nutrition, and food budget.

Join this small-group class in exploring food from prep to consumption each of the series’ three nights. Food sensitivities and allergies will be incorporated if requested. Each person will leave with their tummy full of wonderful food, a head full of knowledge, and hands itching to implement in their own homes.

*Jill has taught our very successful canning classes, container gardening and urban composting classes. Her classes are always full (often with repeat students!). Sign up quick.
