Lacto-Fermentation
Pickles! Kimchi! Sauerkraut! Salsa! Yogurt! Come learn about these living foods and how they can improve your diet and life. Lacto-fermenting can be very simple. Once you have success with the basics you learn from this class, you can branch out into your own experiments. The first portion of this class will cover basic techniques and recipies and explore taste with samples. Bring your own veggies and a few glass jars for the second portion of class, in which you’ll try put your new skills to work and walk away with your first batch of lacto-fermented goodness. Safe, free childcare is provided upon registration.
